So much going on …. September meeting and potting up

The September meeting included lots of organisation for the active time in November – posies to be handed out to the seniors at Castlemaine Health in all the residential care units, on Tuesday 14 October for for Seniors Week, preparation for the Castlemaine Show Parade, 31 October, and a great deal about the major event of the year, the Garden Market on the first weekend in November. Rosters were handed out, the raffle planned and potting of plants organised (see below).

The speaker was Dr Graeme Watson who talked about bulbs and related plants. With a large number of images, Graeme described the plants which would grow well in the Castlemaine region. He added details about what grows well and where along wiht tips to get the best results. The talk was enjoyed by everyone present.
